![]() Yeah the scaling on the X1 different than Fan Control. Maybe this is just normal behavior for 3000-series cards in the Nvidia fan control API? Not sure, as this is the only Ampere card I've seen in person. But HWiNFO shows the "correct" fan speed (e.g., matching what PX1 shows). MSI Afterburner seems to have the same "compressed" fan speed percentage, as does FurMark. To get 60% fan speed, I have to set FanControl to 72%. For instance, to get 20% actual fan speed, I have to set FanControl speed to 44%. So actual_speed = (specified_speed - 30) * 10 / 7. Specifically, the 0-100% range in PX1 is "compressed" into the 30-100% range in FanControl. ![]() One thing I've noticed that's weird on the 3080 Ti XC3 is that the fan speed percentage in FanControl doesn't match the speed the Precision X1 shows. I use FanControl for all my desktop's fans (case, CPU, GPU), so it's really nice it works for the GPU's third fan too.
